Forest City Open Mic for Poetry is in full swing! On the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm, come out to hear local poets, enjoy a bite of food or a glass of wine, and find out about our exciting plans to expand the reach of our poetry into the community. ALL are welcome to get up and read their works - beginners to accomplished poets. We will support you! Poet, fiction writer & dramatist Robyn Marie Butt is our new and talented leader for the season For those who would thrill to see one of your poems published...BE HERE & READ YOUR WORK each Tuesday. Read at a minimum of 5 events in the season & you've earned the right to submit your favourite poem... which goes straight into the anthology at year's end. |
